A & S đ What a bloody gorgeous elopement.
Just these two cuties (+ Kevin the dog for a tiny bit), a simple ceremony at Gretna Green, and then off to the Lake District for a little adventure around Keswick.
I’m slightly obsessed with these two, just FYI. They’re both incredibly cool, fun humans, and I absolutely loved the dark romantic vibes they brought to their wedding day. The outfits, the flowers, the rings... absolutely my cup of tea đ¤
In the Lakes, we wandered around Castlerigg Stone Circle before visiting Derwentwater (one of my favourite places). Then I left them to enjoy the rest of their wedding day together in Keswick.
I know I’ve said it before and I’ll keep saying it: elopements and intimate weddings are my favourite.
Why? Because there is just naturally more space to be present with each other and focus on what really matters… how ridiculously in love you are.
Your wedding doesn’t have to be big or traditional to be special. Maybe the perfect day for you is just the two of you, some stunning scenery, and doing things entirely your own way.

You do not need to lose weight for your wedding.
If that’s something you genuinely want to do for yourself, fair enough. But if you’re doing it because of pressure from other people, social media, wedding culture, or some made-up idea of what a bride is supposed to look like...
Sod that.
You don’t need a smaller body to have a brilliant wedding day.
You don’t need to be a certain dress size to look incredible in your photos.
And you definitely don’t need to earn your right to feel beautiful.
The person you’re marrying loves you exactly as you are. That’s why they’re marrying you.
Turn up. Take up space. Wear the dress. Have the cake. Be in the photos.
You’re already enough.

This was one hell of a dreamy wedding from last year and I still can’t get over how flipping adorable it was.
And side note, the bride is wearing the best shoes ever!
Not only were these two cuties… well super cute. They had the most gorgeous family and friends, which at the end of the day is exactly what you want to be surrounded by on your wedding day.
Overall this wedding was full of whimsy and love, my perfect cup of tea.

Shoe logistics on photoshoots is such a real thing, because the terrain and your shoes will influence how well you can move through certain prompts or actions.
So I think it’s always good to check in as something that might be ok for one person, may not work for another. And you know, ideally I don’t want anyone decking it on my watch while you’re supposed to be having fun on a shoot.
Luckily on this flipping gorgeous couple shoot both E & J both wore shoes they were happy moving around in đ

Actually obsessed with the vibe for this wedding, it’s going to be one of those weddings that stays with me for a long time.

Friendly reminder that your first dance can just be… fun đĒŠâĄī¸
No pressure to perform. No perfectly timed choreography.
Just you two, absolutely buzzing to celebrate this new chapter together.
These two made it official with a civil ceremony at Leeds Civic Hall before heading to The Northern Monk brewery for the loveliest handfasting with all their loved ones.
Their first dance that felt completely true to them… joyful, playful, intimate, and full of so much love.
I’m here for the couples who want to do things their own way… if that’s you, come say hey đ¤

First wedding of 2026 was flipping gorgeous.
Headed to Lancashire to photograph the sweetest little micro wedding beneath Pendle Hill and honestly… it was such a lovely way to start wedding season.
Small guest list, relaxed vibes, emotional moments, lots of laughs and the kind of intimate wedding day that reminds me why I love being a wedding photographer.
Intimate weddings like this and elopements, really do have a special place in my heart.
If you’re planning a small, relaxed wedding day and want it documented naturally, I’d love to hear all about it đ¤
