E & A 💍 I think this wedding will forever be one of my favourites that I’ve had the privilege to photograph. Ella & Aaron’s wedding was an absolutely beautiful day and not just because the weather was on their side 😁 They are just two really gorgeous people, in love and had the loveliest family to join them in their celebrations. … I also think Ella’s dress was to die for, the colour, the texture, the cut…. Chefs kiss 👌 The venue @loveshackweddings_knutsford was the perfect location for this intimate wedding, and the shack itself where the ceremony takes place is just so whimsical, positioned within a gorgeous woodland area. But every space, outside and in is stunning there, which as a photographer is the dream. And I will say that micro weddings and elopements are always going to be extra special to me because they are a much more intimate day, and if I ever get married myself it’s likely I would choose to elope or have a tiny wedding. But on this day, there was lots of love, laughter and joyful moments which is what I believe every wedding is meant to be. What does it look like when I use my car-bed for camping after a wedding?… well kinda looks like this really. This is me camping in my car after a gorgeous wedding in Pembrokeshire. Sometimes if a wedding is far away, I tend to stay in a real hotel the night before and then I may drive home after or camp in my car if I haven’t already planned a 2nd night stay in a hotel. For me it’s a cheap alternative to a hotel particularly if a wedding is in a more remote part of the country where accommodation is naturally higher and there are stunning locations I can visit too. Just like this one ✨

Absolute chaos when one of the smoke bombs didn’t go off during the final group shot for my spooky bitches Halloween shoot! I have used smoke bombs loads and I’ve literally never had a dud. Even though I had spares, I absolutely didn’t have them close enough by to get another quick enough to be part of the same shot. I’ve had a sneaky look at the photos I got from this moment and in the end we definitely made it work 😅 Can’t wait to finish processing this session, which includes a group section and individual self love Halloween photoshoots 👻💀 Note to self, always have a spare to hand! Anyway, loved photographing this whole session, all the women we’re gorgeous and amazing 🖤

Casey & Ed ✨there wedding was an absolute dream and I was so honoured to photograph their big day. These photos just show a glimpse of the magic and vibes from their gloriously colourful outdoor & tipi wedding 💍 But the day started off super lovely photography Casey and her gorgeous bridesmaids in a lovely little cottage near the venue. It was super cute to have everyone in matching pj’s while getting hair & makeup done for the day. And I just want to take a moment to talk about how flipping stunning Casey’s dress was, the texture and shape of it was to die for. Plus I think the addition of the long sleeve wrap top to go over the dress was a lovely addition and it was fun when she took it off later in the night on the dance floor. After bridal prep I travelled to the wedding venue to catch up with Ed before the ceremony and get a few handsome pre-ceremony photos. His green suit was super fun and a really lovely choice of colour for complementing the space. The humanist ceremony was led by Louise and as always she did an amazing job. Two things I really loved about the ceremony was both Casey & Ed had a shot before things got real, and the guests took part in a ring warming. Casey & Ed opted for a confetti exit which is always just a really joyous way to leave the ceremony space. Plus brownie points having lots and lots of paper confetti 🎉 The rest of the day flew by in a blur but it was definitely a fun & colourful wedding. I had and absolute blast photographing Kat this morning for a cheeky and super gorgeous Spicy Outdoor Photoshoot ❤️‍🔥 Actually cannot wait to go through what I shot because I know we got some real fucking stunning photos 📸 I love doing these empowering photoshoots, particularly when they are outside in nature. Because of the nature of these spicy photoshoots, typically I like to do them first thing in the morning to make sure I don’t have many people passing by. So for this shoot, we reached the top of Beacon Fell for sunrise 🌞 And we were blessed with a lovely moody morning sky, which is my personal favourite for a spicy shoot 🌶️ When the sky is full of while cloud it creates a lovely diffuser meaning the sunlight isn’t harsh and therefore I get super lovely smooth & even light on my clients skin. Added bonus, the light it’s not harsh to look at, so my clients also aren’t squinting or struggling to open their eyes because of the sun. Finally, the lovely thing about this kind of weather while shooting in more tree covered areas, it doesn’t create a really strong colour cast on this skin which is glorious. Spicy self love photoshoots are one of my favourite portraits sessions, it takes a lot of trust from my clients and it’s always an honour to take these photos for them. Whether it’s to take a moment to feel sexy, empowered or just to celebrate the,selves, I’m here for all of it 😍

Let’s be Civil 🤍 stunning Civil Partnership in Leeds between Katie (they/them) & David (he/him). And here’s a glimpse into their gorgeous day. I won’t lie, when they arrived at Leeds Civic Hall I literally almost burst into tears because they are so adorable and so is their love. But I pulled myself together before I let a tear fall as I had a job to do 💪📸 The day started with the civil partnership ceremony at Leeds Civic Hall with just family, so it was a lovely intimate ceremony. Then they all went to lunch and I headed to @thechapterhall at the Northern Monk Refectory Leeds. I had a little bit of time to gobble a sandwich before heading inside to start getting details shots of the room. Then all Katie & David’s family, friends & loved ones came along to be present for their beautiful handfasting ceremony led by Paul, and their gorgeous dog Molly was in charge of the rings. As the weather was lovely, everyone headed outside for some group photos, and a bit of fresh air before I borrowed Katie & David for a quick 20 minutes to do couple portraits. And lovely Molly joined us for the first bit. Plus as the @northernmonkrefectorylds is a brewery, we were able to get in there for some photos there which was fun! The rest of the day was filled with food, laughter and a whole lotta love, with a good bit of dancing towards the end of the evening. It was such an honour to be part of this Civil Partnership.
