This week has been a personal reminder to me that I need to advocate more for my fellow LGBTQIA+ people. I often find it difficult to speak up because for the most part I feel like I don’t have the right words… But actually sometimes that’s not helpful and not good enough, and I need to do better. But I want people to know that all love is welcome here with open fucking arms. A bucket load of jazz ready to get excited about your love, your wedding and you as individuals. And for those who’ve had bad experiences in this industry, it genuinely makes me really sad and I’m sorry if that has been the case for you. #lgbtqiaphotographer #pan #lgbtqweddingphotographer
I have the best and cutest couples ever, and I love it when they get in touch with me to update me on their life… or even better to show me all the photos I shot that are now framed proudly in their homes 🫶 And that is exactly what one of my couples did last week. I photographed their pre-wedding shoot and their very special elopement which was completely adorable. Now they have photos from both on their walls and I absolutely love it. It was a total highlight of my week and what makes me love my job so much.
